Introducing a collaborative Pop Up with HOLON at Tsutaya Daikanyama.
We welcome you to take a sensory experience with the pairing of Australian incense & Japanese Botanical Gin. As a relaxing evening winds down; create space for the aroma of natural incense and drinking as meditation. Featuring selected smokey and natural Incense brands curated by JAU and craft gin infused with herbs and spices by HOLON.

A note from Sonny - JAU Founder.
I'm excited to have this unique collaborative pop up with HOLON. I wanted to speak on the beautiful backstory that accompanies their calming range of gins which I found myself resonating with.
HOLON founder Rei Horie found inspiration in Buddhism, mindfulness, and zen while travelling the Himalayas in India. Similarly, during my own travels in the Himalayas in Nepal, I spent time meditating in mountainous temples and found peace and an appreciation from disconnecting from modern life.
From this backstory, HOLON grew into a unique craft gin brand that invites its drinker to connect with themselves. By focusing on the senses of taste and scent, a glass of gin becomes a moment of reflection with the beauty of botanicals. Drinking as Meditation is her tagline, which I think is very fitting.
HOLON's gin selection is a testament to the limitless combination of flavours and scents gin can provide. An experience that is similar to meditation, where we can experience an endless range of senses and thoughts.
Meditation and incense often go hand-in-hand. I've noticed a growing trend in Australia, where incense is becoming more popular as people seek daily rituals to ground themselves.
This practice is a sign that people are beginning to understand themselves better and are opening up to living a slower, more fulfilled life.
Our collection of incense ranges from sweet to savoury and light to smoky - Like the botanicals in gin, it's very calming to light incense and reflect on the scents and how they can make us feel.
Pairing HOLON's gin with our selection of incense is a soothing way to wind down your day. Juniper berries, found in gin, are known for their relaxing properties while incense helps create a calm mood with aroma and smoke. The combination of the two can create a peaceful ambiance, helping us achieve a calm state of mind.
I hope you can find time to visit our pop up and explore a bottle of gin and incense taking some time to yourself to destress and stay mindful.
At Scents & Spirits you will find a curated collection of Australian designed incense. This includes a brand new handmade incense brand straight out of Byron Bay, as well as new scents from other beloved JAU incense brands with plenty of incense holders to match. HOLON is also presenting two flavours of gin from their collection including a seasonal Sakura flavoured gin!
