Incense Plank - Palo Santo Ceremony
Our Ceremony incense plank contains 100% Peruvian Palo Santo wood. Palo Santo is a type of wood commonly used for its aromatic properties and believed to have spiritual and healing benefits in traditional South American medicine practices.
There's been much over-harvesting of Palo Santo as the world seeks more and more of this magical ceremony wood. As it's required to be harvested only from fallen branches 4+ years old it's becoming harder to sustainably collect in the wild. We support local farmers who collect on a strict forestry diary and who are creating sustainable plantations for future collection. We feel confident our partners are working towards a future of abundance of this amazing wood for us all so that our ceremonies and rituals may continue.
Tribe Earth Handmade Incense are uniquely shaped thick handmade incense planks. All ingredients have been hand mixed, cut and dried in the warm Australian outback sun.
No glues, no perfumes, no essential oils, no toxic materials. 100% plant material. All ingredients are sustainably hand harvested from renewable plantations. Minimally packaged with a recycled paper label to avoid unnecessary waste.
30-45 minutes total burn-time. Just break off a small piece and burn on a fireproof container, such as a small plate. A small amount will burn strongly and leave a relaxing, smokey yet sweet aroma lingering for up to 20 minutes after it has finished burning.
You can also burn the whole stick when using it in larger spaces or outdoors. In these cases the burn time will be shorter as the incense will have a higher amount of heat however the scent release will also be higher.
