R L Foote Design Studio is a dynamic design studio based in Melbourne and Hong Kong that specializes in handmade unique ceramic flatware and a host of contemporary interior design objects.
Ryan Foote the founder of the studio has a background in the culinary field and combines his love for food with his expertise in ceramics. His experimental glazing techniques have garnered the studio much acclaim making us eagerly await their latest innovations.

[NEW] Ritual Dish
The Ritual Dish is a small white porcelain holder that was custom made to use with our popular natural incense brand Tribe Earth. This bagel shaped form fits snug into your hand and is coated in a thin clear glaze that emphasises its smooth rounded features. We also think it would make for a nice ring holder! Only available at the JAU store for the time being.

[NEW] Mini Plates
You can now get a taste of R L Foote studio in the mini plates!
These small trays use the studios signature Crystalline glaze. The Crystalline glaze creates complex organic patterns through growing crystals in the molten glaze during kiln firing. Each piece is one-of-a-kind due to the testing and refinement process, resulting in vibrant and unrepeatable colors. Use these trays with your incense holder or as a keepsake tray.

MAHO Sensory make 100% Vegan, fine fragrance incense sticks as well as minimalist incense burners.
With the introduction of R L Footes new mini plate series we thought the scent White Musk complimented it nicely. The scent story is a blend of crisp citrus, bergamot, floral notes and a touch of spice. Each incense pack also comes encapsulated in a glass tube and a small incense holder.
The small brass holder pictured is the Enkei burner; a minimalist solid brass burner with a natural brush finish. It fits perfectly in the R L Foote mini plate and matches the glaze too!
