JAU exhibited at rooms PARK for the first time
We exhibited for the first time at the exhibition called "rooms PARK" held at Shibuya Hikarie for 4 days from 10/13 to 10/16. "rooms" is a curation event in which creators from all genres such as fashion, lifestyle, art, performance, food and drink participate. The latter two days were called Market Days, and the general customers could actually shop, and there were live events and talk shows on stage, so it was truly a festival-like two days.
JAU was approached by Azusa Takazono, a special incubator of rooms, and founder Sonny and sales manager Madoka Harding appeared in a talk show to talk about the stories behind the products handled by JAU, about Australian design and Australian culture.
The rooms are also focusing on the decoration of the venue, and with the image of PARK, which is the theme of this time, it is an artistic space design that is typical of rooms with plenty of greenery, and each brand has its own idea to express their own world view. was devoted to JAU's booth design was done by Sonny, the founder, and everything from the materials for the display shelves to the processing and assembling of the wood was done. This shelf can be easily assembled and disassembled, and it is a sustainable specification that can be disassembled and stored and used many times, not just for this event.
In addition, Green Art Co., Ltd. in Yoyogi specially coordinated the greens for the Lightly and Capra design planters that were the main displays for JAU. The whole display came to life and was upgraded with the addition of lovely greenery. When I visited Green Art's office in Yoyogi, there were countless greens lined up, but it was obvious that each one was carefully cared for. We were overwhelmed. According to their story, they repeat the cycle of taking care of them at their company's farm in Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture every six months, letting them take a rest, and returning them when they are healthy. I was very moved by the attitude of raising greens as living things. Thank you very much for your support during this time.

At 'rooms', it was very impressive that many customers picked up the incense. We heard many voices saying that they were interested in incense and wanted to start using incense, or that they wanted to try something new because they were happy to use one kind of incense.
